Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man who was a suspect in a stolen vehicle case ended up at St Marys Hospital after apparently overdosing on an unknown drug.

An Olmsted County deputy was called to a residence near Oronoco Sunday afternoon to check a report of a suspicious vehicle.

The deputy found a man in the car who was suffering from a medical issue. An ambulance was called and the man’s condition deteriorated on the way to the hospital. He was reported in fair condition Monday morning.

The vehicle the 43-year-old man was found in was reported stolen from a Rochester convenience store Saturday night.

The man was spotted driving the vehicle in Rochester and led an officer on a short chase before getting away. That happened about an hour before he was found in the vehicle.
