The Prince of Darkness meets the Lord of the Sith in "Star Wars || War Pigs," an Ozzy Osbourne-approved fan-made video setting moments from the long-running Star Wars saga to the strains of Black Sabbath's classic "War Pigs."

The clip, which Osbourne shared on his Twitter account on March 7, was originally uploaded late last year by a film editor who goes by Daria and shares her wares via a YouTube channel dubbed "voordeel."

Applauded by Daria's Twitter followers after its initial posting on Dec. 24, the video managed to amass a thousand likes — impressive for an account with less than 500 followers, but still nothing like the type of audience Osbourne introduced it to with his own tweet, which has picked up nearly 4,000 likes as of this writing.

As fans will no doubt recall, this isn't the only time Osbourne's vocals have been re-purposed in recent memory. The mashup artist known as DJ Cummerbund reached into the Sabbath singer's solo catalog for a video — which later went viral — combining Osbourne's "Crazy Train" with the Earth, Wind & Fire hit "September." It all just goes to show — yet again — that when you're a metal god, you can show up pretty much anywhere and make everything better.

Osbourne will take another opportunity to put that to the test when he embarks on his No More Tours 2 tour in a few weeks — the first date is scheduled for April 27 in Jacksonville, and he's schedule to be on the road well into the fall. Check out the list of announced shows here.
