Owner of Ultra-Rare Porsche Totals It While Drunk
Having a Porsche is pricey, but having a Porsche that's 1 of 25 costs a whole lot more.
Benjamin Chen, owner of the blue Gemballa Mirage GT made a mistake we're all taught not to in second grade: Getting behind the wheel while under the influence.
It not only got him arrested, but it cost him the ultra-rare vehicle.
Chen was arrested around 7:30am Tuesday after a series of hit-and-run accidents due to being impaired by drugs he had taken.
CCTV footage shows the initial accident when Chen struck a Toyota Sienna, immediately totaling both vehicles before taking off. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=opAeNT57VvU The vehicle was still drivable, so Chen continued on, ran multiple red lights and hit other vehicles.
