Dodge Center, MN (KROC AM News) - Driving conditions in southeast Minnesota Thursday morning were affected by light snow and rain that fell across the region.

Temperatures fell to around or below freezing, creating scattered icy spots.

Public safety officials had responded to several accidents and mishaps as of 7:30 am. One accident was reported in Dodge County around 5:45 am and involved a semi-truck and two other vehicles.

The Minnesota State Patrol says an SUV driven by an Owatonna teenager spun out on westbound Highway 14 and came to a stop.

A semi-truck drove around the SUV but a car collided with the vehicle. The Owatonna teenager was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. She was identified as 19-year-old Maribel Rueda. The car was driven by 32-year-old Matthew Fischer of Rochester. He was not injured.

The State Patrol says the road was slippery.

An Austin woman was hurt after crashing on a slick section of I-90 in Mower County around 6:30 am. The State Patrol says 31-year-old Stormmie Corporon was driving a pickup truck east on the interstate near Grand Meadow when the vehicle "left the roadway and rolled in the ditch." Corporon was taken to the hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
