The Chippewa County Sheriff's Office today released the name of the victim.

The list of crash victims from Monday includes a 16-year-old boy.

The State Patrol says the crash occurred when the elderly driver of an SUV crossed over the center line.

The State Patrol, which responded to the crash shortly after 2:30 Monday afternoon, says a car and SUV were involved in the crash.

Both crashes happened in Wabasha County on Sunday. The first was reported shortly before 2 p.m. and the second happened just after 5:30 p.m.

The State Patrol says alcohol use is suspected on the part of the driver of the car involved in the collision.

The State Patrol says the driver and his passengers were all from Illinois.

The crash occurred along Highway 16 near Inspiration Point.

The State Patrol responded to the two-vehicle collision shortly after 3 p.m. An SUV and car were involved in the crash.

The State Patrol responded to the single-vehicle crash shortly before 10:30 a.m.
