Mayor Brede Proclaims Today Rich Peterson Day

This morning was filled with many thanks and stories on News-Talk 1340 KROC AM as the community celebrated Rich Peterson.

After decades of entertaining and informing South East Minnesota, Rich hung up his headphones with class, dignity, and a warm good-bye.  Community leaders, long time listeners, advertisers, and regular guests called in from near and far.  The show even featured a call from Rich's son in Hamburg, Germany, an appearance by his grand daughter, and a proclamation from our Mayor.  On behalf of everyone here, we'd like to thank Rich for being such an amazing man, great friend, and advocate for the Rochester community.

News-Talk 1340 KROC AM will have a new lineup on Monday morning August 7th, but will still be a community partner and outlet for Rochester to get local news, info, sports, and share ideas and thoughts on our community.
