Man Arrested for Threatening Man With a Knife
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A 32-year-old Rochester man was arrested on a felony assault charge after he allegedly threatened another man with a knife Thursday afternoon.
The incident occurred around 3 p.m. in in the 500 block of 14th street southeast while a 22-year-old man was helping another person with a move. He told police he was approached by a group of Somali men and one of them, later identified as Bashir Farah, approached him holding a knife when he refused to join Farah’s group.
The victim told officers Farah ran off after he he grabbed a tire iron to defend himself.
