Local School Ranked One of Top Colleges in Minnesota

If you're looking to further your education online, you'll find one of the top colleges in Minnesota right here in our own backyard.

That's the word from a new report done by SR Education Group. According to their release, they looked at many online community colleges here in Minnesota and came up with top 23. Here's how they put together the list:

"Each community college was ranked by several important factors, including retention rate, graduation rate, percentage of online enrollment data, and the number of online associate degrees offered. We also provide a manually researched tuition based on the college's website," the site noted.

And the resulting list of colleges is pretty handy. "Students in Minnesota who want to earn an associate degree or certificate online can turn to any of the community colleges on this list. They all offer at least one fully online associate degree program, and many offer dozens," the report noted.

And... our own Rochester Community and Technical College is featured on the list, coming in at number-19 on the list, offering several associate degrees, certificates, and special diplomas through its online learning program, the list said.
