Late Night Fire At Rochester Residence
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A fire broke out at a Rochester residence late Saturday.
Firefighters were called to 1410 7th St NE around 11:30 PM and found fire and heavy smoke coming from the attached garage of the house.
The Rochester Fire Dept. says the homeowner and a neighbor were using garden hoses in an effort to control the blaze. RFD crews extinguished the fire, which apparently began in the garage
RFD says there was heavy fire damage to the garage. The house sustained limited smoke damage. The preliminary damage estimate was put at $40,000.
There were no injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
