Large Fish Dump Near Oronoco Leads to Discovery of Meth Lab
Oronoco, MN (KROC AM News) - A report of hundreds of pounds of dead fish in a ditch near Oronoco also led to the discovery of an apparent meth lab.
A DNR officer was checking the dumping of 500 - 600 pounds of carp and bullheads on Wednesday when the remnants of the lab were spotted nearby. The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office was notified.
A spokesman says it appears the lab had been there for an extended period.
As for the fish, it’s not known when they dumped - or why. The ditch is located in the 10,800 block of 14th Ave NW.
