
Two Children Injured in Northern Minnesota School Bus Rollover
The bus was heading west on the two-lane highway when the driver lost control. It then rolled once it entered the ditch on the driver’s right side, the state crash report says.
Aitkin, MN (MinnesotaNow)- A school bus rollover in northern Minnesota sent two students to the hospital on Thursday.

That’s according to the State Patrol which responded to the rollover shortly before 3:30 Thursday afternoon. The students were the only passengers on the bus.

Pair of Students Brought to Hospital After School Bus Rollover in Aitkin County
The rollover crash occurred about 19 miles north of Mille Lacs Lake in the 38000 block of Hwy. 47 in Aitkin County.
The bus was heading west on the two-lane highway when the driver lost control. It then rolled once it entered the ditch on the driver’s right side, the state crash report says.

70-year-old James Allen Darsnek of Aitkin was identified as the bus driver. He was not hurt, according to the State Patrol.
The two students suffered non-life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol says. Their names and ages have not been released.
Alcohol was not involved in the school bus crash, according to the state crash report.
