Southeast Minnesota Teenager Injured in Rollover Crash
Rushford, MN (KROC-AM News) - A teenage motorist was injured in a single-vehicle crash on Saturday in Fillmore County.
The State Patrol says the crash occurred when the driver lost control of the SUV while traveling north on Highway 43. The incident was reported around 5:20 PM about 2 miles north of Rushford where the highway curves just south of the Fillmore/ Winona County line, about 35 miles southeast of Rochester.
The preliminary crash report from the State Patrol indicates the SUV went into the ditch and rolled.
The driver, 16-year-old Carter Skree of Rushford, was transported by ambulance to the Winona hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
