Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News Slippery conditions are being blamed for an injury crash in Rochester this morning.

The State Patrol reports that a pickup truck crashed into the median wall on Highway 52 shortly after 9 a.m. The crash report indicates the pickup was traveling southbound when the driver lost control on the icy road surface and collided with the median wall near the 2nd Street Southwest interchange.

Icy Road Conditions a Factor

The State Patrol says a 69-year-old man from Waseca was driving the pickup, and his passenger was a 71-year-old woman from Waseca. Their names have not been released, and information about the extent of their injuries was not immediately available.

The Rochester Police and Fire Departments joined the State Patrol in responding to the crash, along with Mayo Clinic Ambulance Service.
