Zumbro Falls, MN (KROC-AM News)- A Rochester motorcyclist was brought to a hospital following a motorcycle crash in southeast Minnesota

He was the only person involved. It happened in Wabasha County.

The State Patrol, Mayo One helicopter and other emergency resources responded to the crash shortly before 7 p.m. on Thursday.

Rochester Man Taken to Hospital After Motorcycle Crash on Hwy. 60 in Wabasha County

48-year-old Andrew Jon Dejardin was driving the motorcycle west on Hwy. 60 between Zumbro Falls and Mazeppa.

The state crash report says left the roadway and struck a guardrail, the state crash report says. 

Dejardin was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester. The State Patrol is describing his injuries as non-life-threatening. 

Alcohol Suspected

Dejardin was wearing a helmet. The state crash report also says alcohol was suspected of being in his system. 

Mayo One helicopter, Zumbrota Ambulance, the Wabasha County Sheriff’s Office and Wabasha Fire Department also responded to the crash.

The state crash report does not say whether Dejarding was flown to Rochester or transported by ground ambulance.
