Wabasha, MN (KROC-AM News)- A young motorcyclist was hurt after crashing in southeast Minnesota Sunday afternoon.

Emergency responders were dispatched to the crash in Wabasha County around 1:30 p.m. 

The motorcycle operator was the only person involved in the crash

26-Year-Old Woman Taken to St. Mary's Hospital After Crashing Motorcycle on Hwy. 60 Near Wabasha

The motorcyclist, who was traveling east on Hwy. 60, crashed about six miles southwest of Wabasha. 

She entered a right hand curve, went off the two-lane highway and collided with the guardrail, the state crash report says. 

26-year-old Anna Marie Davidson of Hastings was identified as the motorcycle operator. She was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester with non-life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol says. 

Helmet Worn, No Alcohol Use Suspected

Davidson was wearing a helmet and was not under the influence of alcohol, according to the state crash report

The Wabasha County Sheriff’s Office, Wabasha Ambulance, the Wabasha Fire Department and Mayo One helicopter also responded to the crash. 

The crash report does not say if Davidson was airlifted.
