
I-90 Reopens After Crash Near Eyota Involving Semis and Minivan
Eyota, MN (KROC-AM News) - An Owatonna woman was injured in a crash today that closed down a portion of I-90 in Olmsted County for several hours.
What Happened in the I-90 Crash Near Eyota
The State Patrol says the crash occurred in the westbound lanes of the freeway just east of the Highway 42 interchange near Eyota around 9:50 a.m. It involved a collision between two semi-trucks and a minivan.
Owatonna Woman Suffers Injuries in Collision
According to the crash report, 41-year-old Jenna Fernandez of Owatonna was driving the minivan. She was transported to St. Marys Hospital with what were described as non-life-threatening injuries.

The truck drivers were identified as 50-year-old Bruce Jacobs of Huntington, Indiana, and 69-year-old David Marx of Wabash, Indiana. The State Patrol says they were not injured.
All three drivers were wearing seat belts, and alcohol was not involved in the crash.
Traffic Impacted for Hours Following Wreck
Following the crash, the Minnesota Department of Transportation announced that westbound I-90 was completely closed between Highway 42 and Highway 52 and in Rochester. Eastbound traffic was also detoured off the freeway until the crash site was cleared of debris around 1:20 p.m.
