
Collision Between Two Minivans on Hwy. 247 Near Plainview Sends Man and Woman to St. Mary’s Hospital
Elgin, MN (KROC-AM News)- A two-vehicle crash in southeast Minnesota sent a man and woman to the hospital early Wednesday.

That’s according to the State Patrol, which responded to the crash shortly before 7 a.m. Two minivans were involved in the collision.

Man and Woman Injured in Collision Involving Minivans on Hwy. 247 East of Plainview
The minivans collided near the intersection of Hwy. 247 and Wabasha County Rd. 2, which is about four miles west of Plainview.
A 2005 Chrysler minivan and 2010 Chrysler minivan were both heading west when they collided, the state crash report says.
60-year-old Arcenio Gurrero of Winnebago, MN was driving the 2010 minivan. The State Patrol says he was not hurt.
Two of his passengers, identified as 30-year-old Arianna Marie Lopez and 30-year-old Rolando Vela Mendoza suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The man was woman from Texas were taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, the State Patrol says.
Plainview Driver, Other Passengers Avoid Injury
A 58-year-old man and 36-year-old man riding with Gurrero were not hurt. The state crash report says Lopez was the only occupant who was not buckled up.
34-year-old Jackie Lee Neubauer of Plainview was identified as the driver of the 2005 minivan.
She was the lone occupant of that vehicle and was not hurt. The state crash report says alcohol was not a suspected factor in the injury crash.
Elgin EMS and the Wabasha County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the two-vehicle collision.
