Two-Vehicle Crash Sends Spring Valley Woman to Hospital
Blooming Prairie, MN (KROC-AM News)- A Spring Valley woman was taken to a hospital following a crash in Steele County over the weekend.

Two vehicles were involved in the collision. The State Patrol responded to the crash shortly before 9:30 Saturday night.
The crash happened at the intersection of Hwy. 218 and Bixby Ln., which is about six miles north of Blooming Prairie.
An SUV and a Jeep were traveling south on the two-lane highway when they collided, according to the state crash report.
52-year-old Molly Therese Mitchell was identified as the Spring Valley woman driving the SUV. She was taken to a hospital in Owatonna with what the crash report describes as non-life-threatening injuries.
42-year-old Miranda Adriana Grieger was driving the Jeep. Her passenger was identified as 37-year-old Matthew Richard Grieger. The man and woman from Owatonna escaped the crash without injuries.
All three people were buckled up and alcohol was not involved in the crash, the state crash report says.
The Steele County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the crash.
