
Rochester Police Investigated Suspected Accidental Shooting That Sent Man to Hospital
The wounded man provided limited information to officers, however the preliminary investigation indicates he may have accidentally shot himself.
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- The Rochester Police Department is investigating a suspected accidental shooting.

That’s according to Communications Coordinator Amanda Grayson.
Officers responded to the report of gunfire at a northwest Rochester apartment complex around 11:30 Saturday night.

Man Suffers Gunshot Wound to the Foot in Suspected Accidental Shooting at Rochester Apartment Complex
The shooting was reported at Essex Park Apartments, located at 1115 41st St. NW. Responding officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to his foot, Grayson said.
The man was taken by Mayo Clinic ambulance to a hospital for treatment.
Grayson says the wounded man provided limited information to officers, however the preliminary investigation indicates he may have accidentally shot himself.
Police have not released the man’s name and have not said whether or not he could face charges.
