It’s About to Get a Whole Lot Wilder in Byron With New Restaurant Finally Open

Many of you, including myself, have been waiting for this for quite some time, and now you can finally see Wildwood Sports Bar and Grill's brand new digs!

Last month we got word the popular local hot spot was expanding it's brands reach and building a second location here in southeast Minnesota; which turned into the old Sandbaggers in Byron. Chef and owner Jim Nicholas and his staff have been working feverishly to open before the month comes to an end, and now that they've done just that it's time to show it all off.

The new restaurant, located on the frontage road along Hwy 14 in Byron will still carry all the same menu items you know and love here in Rochester, with the addition of pizza! In case you're wondering about the fate of the bowling alley that was inside the former Sandbaggers, don't worry, because that has also stayed put!

So if you're looking for somewhere "new" to visit, be sure and take a drive out to Byron this weekend for their massive boneless chicken wings, awesome Bloody Mary bar or their many other delicious menu items. You won't be disappointed!
