I Saw Something Very Interesting Over the Weekend

I spent the weekend in Wisconsin and saw one of the most interesting things in a bar that I've never seen before. My niece and her husband own a bar in a small town called "The First & Last Bar" in Ingram WI.

Not only did I find a new beer called "Lombardi Golden Ale" which wasn't too bad BUT, I was also introduced to this:

This is apparently a real cobra that was inside a bottle of whiskey or brandy. (I didn't taste it) It looked pretty old. The story goes that it made its way to Wisconsin from Vietnam. Not sure about much more than that but it's probably one of the coolest things I've seen.

Have you ever seen anything like this and do you know of its origins?

Also, if you ever find yourself in Ingram, WI, make sure to stop at The First & Last. Definitely worth the trip. Great owners, bartenders and cold beer.
