Mantorville MN (KROC AM News) -  The Blooming Prairie woman accused of killing her husband and fleeing to the Ft. Myers area where she committed another murder will stand trial in Florida first.

That’s according to Dodge County Sheriff Scott Rose.

He said Wednesday 56-year-old Lois Riess will go to Florida to face a second-degree murder charge in the killing of a look-alike woman. Police say she killed the woman and then stole her money, credit cards, ID, and car.

Riess was caught in Texas last week after a nationwide search, which they've just released video of:

Rose says second-degree degree charges will be filed in Dodge County after prosecutors receive forensic results.

He adds, “We will bring her back to MN to stand trial when FL is done."
