Did this Minnesota Sheriff’s Office Really Ban Donuts?

One Minnesota county sheriff's office decided to have a little fun on this April Fool's Day. That or they might have caused quite the ruckus in the office.

Scott County had a little fun when they annouced on Twitter that they became the first law enforcement agency in the nation to be 100% donut free.

Is this just a major April Fool's joke? They haven't mentioned it to be yet (As of 4:30 this afternoon) but one has to wonder the timing of said donut ban. Now, if any office went 100% donut free, some people would not be very happy, myself included. That would be an absolute travesty.

Now, if they actually went 100% donut free as a law enforcement agency, good for them, but c'mon, that just seems a bit too hard to believe.
