Detour Planned For Northbound South Broadway in Downtown Rochester
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Traffic in downtown Rochester is expected to be disrupted on Saturday.
Weather permitting, a construction crane will be deployed and put to work at both the DoubleTree Hotel and Hotel Indigo, which will require closing the northbound lanes of South Broadway between 1st and 3rd Streets. If the weather does not cooperate, the road closure will occur on Sunday.
The Rochester Public Works Department says the work and the road closure is expected to begin about 7 AM and last through 4 PM. Northbound traffic on South Broadway will be detoured on 4th Street Southeast and then north of 3rd Avenue Southeast to Civic Center Drive before returning to Broadway.
