County, City, School Officials Share Important Coronavirus Info on ‘Rochester Today’

Andy Brownell and Kim David hosted a special edition of the Rochester Today Show Tuesday more to pass along important information concerning the local response to the coronavirus pandemic.
Graham Briggs, Director of Olmsted County Public Health, was the featured guest and expanded on the information he has been able to share during recent news conferences about the arrival of COVID-19 and the impact on the community.
Rochester Public Schools Superintendent Michael Munoz and Rochester Mayor Kim Norton also participated and discussed how school facilities and staff will be providing emergency child care to the health care workers and others on the front-line of the response to the new illness. The two leaders also provided information about an initiative that was quickly developed to provide lunch and breakfast to children in the community while the schools are closed beginning on Wednesday.
