Byron, MN (KROC AM News) – A Byron man is accused of holding a family member against her will and assaulting her before driving off with her vehicle.

Olmsted County counties were sent to a residence in Byron around 6:15 AM Tuesday after the woman was able to get away and call 911. The woman said 28-year-old Dylan Kaiser became violent around 4:00 AM and choked her several times.

She was able to get outside her residence at one point but says Kaiser caught her and dragged her back inside. He later took her keys and drove off with her vehicle. Kaiser was not able to drive his own car because it has an ignition lock and he had been drinking.

He was caught a short while later in Dodge County and is facing several felony charges.
