Brainerd Man Allegedly Sought to ‘Pimp’ Rochester Police Officer
A Brainerd man was brought to the Olmsted County Jail Saturday while Olmsted County prosecutors prepared a prostitution-related criminal complaint against him.
Rochester Police Lieutenant Casey Moilanen says 42-year-old Antwon Robinson is accused of recruiting a female Rochester police investigator by offering to serve as her “pimp” if she moved to Brainerd to work for him as a prostitute. The alleged recruiting took place through a social media site starting on February 13th.
Moilanen says Robinson was arrested by Brainerd police and was brought to Rochester to face charges after he purchased a bus ticket for the police investigator and he met up with her when she arrived in Brainerd.
