Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A body was found on a rural SE Rochester road early Tuesday and the Olmsted County Sheriff’s office is treating the death as “suspicious.”

Sgt. Kirby Long says a passing motorist spotted the body in the 2300 block of 45th St SE near Gamehaven Park around 3:45 AM and called 911. The body was in the middle of the road.

It was determined the adult male was dead and Long says there were signs of blood, indicating trauma was involved. Sheriff Kevin Torgerson says it’s possible more information about the body such as race and age and any possible ID may be released after forensic work at the scene is completed.
