AT&T Pretty Much Nailed It 20 Years Ago With Their Commercials

It was 20 years ago, I remember seeing these commercials and thinking, "Wow, if that's true, that will be pretty awesome." Well, 20 years later, they pretty much nailed it.

If you're old enough, you'll remember the opening line, "Have you ever borrowed a book from 1,000 miles away?" Then, Tom Selleck goes on to say, "Crossed the country....without stopping for directions." Then they cut to a guy on a beach writing on a tablet, sending a fax. I don't know exactly how much of today's technology AT&T is responsible for but in this series of commercials, they did say, "The company that will bring it to you?....AT&T."

Either way, you have to admit, some of their predictions back then as to how the world will operate today are pretty spot on.....and awesome. Gotta love technology. Check out the spots below.
