Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - An arrest warrant has been issued for a 28-year-old Rochester man suspected of assaulting a man in front of his young daughter earlier this year.

The charges in the arrest warrant allege Jonathan Soderlind and another man burst into the victim's apartment in the 1300 block of 4th Ave., Southwest the evening of May 28. The police reports say the 28-year-old victim was making dinner for his two-year-old daughter when he answered a knock at the door and the two intruders pushed their way inside his residence.

The victim identified Soderlind as the attacker who grabbed him by the throat, pushed him into a bathroom, and punched him in the face and stomach. The victim told investigators Soderlind is the ex-boyfriend of his girlfriend and was upset about her relationship with him.

Soderlind is facing felony burglary and assault charges in the case. The other alleged intruder, 23-year-old Kurt Halvorson, was arrested last month and arraigned on a being and abetting burglary and assault.
