CBS News says that Walmart was on the list of stores that sold those five different types of pasta sauces. There are many Walmarts in Minnesota that may have had some of those containers onhand. Other retailers might have had a few jars, but Walmart had the majority of them according to CBS News. They are taking action as we speak.
Now if you do have a Ragu jar that has been recalled, there are a few steps you should take. First off, you should call the hotline (800-328-7248). They are open weekdays from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm CST. Once you have placed the call, the company is asking that you get ride of the sauce. The release says that the company will send you a coupon to replace your jar as soon as you make the call.
