Apple Valley, MN (KROC-AM News) - The deaths of three people in an Apple Valley home was apparently the result of a double-murder suicide.

Apple Valley Police issued a statement Sunday indicating the fatal shootings of two adult men and a woman involved “acts of family violence.” The statement says the evidence points to two of the victims being shot and killed by the perpetrator, who then committed suicide.

A news release issued by the Apple Valley Police Department on Saturday said officers responded to a single-family home around 12:15 PM after receiving a call from a person inside the residence who reported discovering multiple gunshot victims. The home is a neighborhood located about a mile and a half southeast of the Minnesota Zoo.

Their names of the deceased have not been released.
