"If these walls could talk" isn't that far off.

A couple in Ross Township, Pa. has been living with an alarm clock stuck in their wall that has been going off each day since 2014.

Jerry Lynn and his wife, Sylvia, are the unfortunate homeowners who hear the clock blare once a day. Even worse? It's Jerry's fault. According to KDKA:

He says he dropped the clock, tied to a string, through an air vent. Set to go off 10 minutes later, it would let him know where to punch a hole in the living room wall to pass a wire through for a TV hookup."

The clock loosened and fell, rendering Lynn unable to retrieve it. He figured the clock's battery would eventually die, but well over a decade later it's still going strong. The couple hasn't broken into the wall to get the clock, yet they don't appear to have gone loco listening to it, choosing instead to come to the realization it's as much a part of their home as a toilet in the bathroom.
