A Spam-Tastic Trip To Austin, Minnesota
Recently while entertaining visiting family members from Wisconsin I had to come up with a 4 hour sight seeing adventure that screams.......'M I N N E S O T A'.
First, I'm a 'Minnesota Transplant' myself. I have lived here in SE Minnesota since Aug. 2003, moving here from Mesa, AZ. Last week while entertaining my visiting daughter Caitlyn, and her 'hubby' Scott I had to find an interesting & touristy sight-seeing outing that would be uniquely Minnesota. The Mall Of America would have consumed a whole day, and the State Fair was over a week away, so I opted for a trip to Austin, MN and the famed Spam Museum. I for one had never been there before since calling SE MN home, so off we went for a little Meat & Greet that would be a nice taste of the Gopher State and a CHUNK of history & Americana. The decision was a good one, for we had a wonderful time!

Friendly faces with a big slice of 'Minnesota-Nice'!
Ever hear of the 'Spam-Temple-Pilots'? (neither have I ) I think I'd like to be one though. The Spam-Can instruments have a very 'meaty' tone!
A 'Spam-bassador' by the name of Joyce served up some tasty 'Spam-ples', and yet another juicy smile. (btw....did you the notice the dude in the background? He looks pissed because Joyce came right to me with those Spam-ples first. ha!!)
