A Minnesota Businessman Is In Trouble For Beer Drone Delivery

Plans for drone beer deliveries to ice fishing houses in Minnesota are on hold because of the Federal Aviation Administration.  According to the Star Tribune, Jack Supple, the president of Lakemaid beer, devised this idea to deliver 12 packs to ice fishing houses and created a YouTube video that quickly went viral.

Apparently, as great as this sounds to Ice Fishers, the FAA bans the use of drones for commercial sales. So, Lakemaid beer is in trouble for this idea.  It even made the Today Show, after the FAA put the kabosh on this 'Beer Drone'.
