Once removed, the driver, James Bradley Poe, made his way back to the scene, revealing himself to police.

"I wasn’t under any intoxication," Bradley claimed, saying that he thought the car was in park and was not able to save it in time.  Bradley is now facing charges for fleeing the scene and not having insurance on the vehicle.

Locals were glad to discover no one was harmed.  And Bradley says that he’ll be paying for the damage to the pool.
