Rochester Police Arrest Two Men for Making Armed Threats
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man was arrested Friday afternoon after police say he threatened three men with a knife.
Police say 43-year-old Paul Allen was walking across the street at the intersection of 14th St and 11th Ave NE and began yelling at the driver of a truck that drove past him.
When the three men in the truck got out to confront Allen, he pulled a knife and made some threatening comments. He then walked away but the men followed and waited until police arrived and arrested him.
A Rochester teenager was arrested Friday night after police say he used a gun to threaten another person. Police say two employees of a local restaurant got into an argument at work. One called some friends and they showed up at closing time and threatened the man.
Police say 18-year-old Kennedy Sanchez pulled out a gun and threatened the man before leaving. The victim was able to use his phone to take a picture of Sanchez and police later located him and he spent the weekend in jail.
