A Great Way To Keep Rochester Kids Playing Outside This Summer
When you're a kid, summer is the best. No school! You can wear shorts! It's amazing outside (usually)! But for parents, it can get a little challenging when your kid suddenly has a lot of free time for the next three months. But if you want to keep your kid entertained and get them outside, you're in luck!
That's because Rochester Parks & Recreation is going to be kicking off something pretty cool for kids in the area. It's the Go! Play! Explore! Mobile Recreation program, which starts up on the 12th. The mobile activities and games trailer will be making its way throughout Rochester parks this summer, with the Parks & Rec staff hosting outdoor activities and games.
But that's not all! Rochester Parks & Recreation also has a "Passport to Parks" program that offers activity ideas and park suggestions throughout the summer. Anyone interested can pick up passports at Quarry Hill Nature Center, the Parks & Rec City Hall office, and the Boys & Girls Club.
