There are a lot of benefits when it comes to shopping at Costco. It's my go-to store for buying Mac & Cheese in bulk! But you may not know that memberships at the warehouse retailer also come with some hidden perks. Business Insider recently spoke to a bunch of current and former Costco employees about some of the 'secret' benefits some members may not know about.

An Executive Membership Might Be Worth It

While a regular membership is $60 a year, an executive membership costs twice as much. But it can be worth it if you shop there enough, because you can get a 2% reward of up to $1,000 on your purchases. More on this later.

Get Hooked Up For Your Next Pizza Party

Who knew that Costco is one of the stealth largest pizza chains in the country? If you're having a pizza party, you can actually call ahead in advance for pick-up.

Ain't No Funeral Like A COSTCO Funeral

Okay, this one is a bit on the darker side, but Costco actually sells caskets that are "cheaper compared to other places."

Buy Your Next Car

If you're in the market for a new car, their auto program teams up with participating dealerships by offering discounted vehicles. Don't forget that you can also get cash back on gasoline, too!

Vacation Deals

This is the one I really need to check out more. Costco has a travel site that offers bargains on flights, hotels, and even cruises. And going back to the Executive Membership, this is also a great way to get 2% back on your next tropical vacation!

Diamond Discounts

If anyone plans on getting engaged in the near future, Costco is apparently known for stocking some surprises in its jewelry section.

"He went to Costco!" Now THAT is a diamond commercial I want to see.
