Young Bicyclist Hit by Truck in Southeast Rochester

Rochester, MN  (KROC AM News) - A boy riding his bicycle near Ben Franklin school Monday was taken to St Marys Hospital after being hit by a pickup truck.

It happened around 6:30 p.m. as the boy was riding across 20th St SE at the 91/2 St intersection.

A Rochester police spokesman says the boy suffered a head laceration and it’s believed the injury was non-life threatening.
