You Kids And Your Video Games [VIDEOS]

You know, if we had today's video games when I was a kid, I'd never leave the house either. We had a couple different systems while I was growing up. One was strictly "pong" which was literally one white line on each end of the screen and you moved your controller to make sure the little ball didn't go past your stick. But then......My uncle gave us his Atari 2600. Holy CRAP! To say that my siblings and I were stoked would be an understatement. Then we got to play cool games like "Missile Command" "Pac-Man" "Jungle Hunt" and "Tanks". Just some 8 bit pieces of crap games that, back then, were the sh*t. We'd play for HOURS. (I RULED at Missile Command)

One of my favorite games to play was Atari Football.

I look back on it now and I think, "What the hell were we thinking?" The graphics, by today's standards, were AWFUL! But again, it was a different time. We didn't have Playstation, X-Box, Nintendo (that came in the 80's CONTRA was AWESOME!) So, we loved playing what we had.

Now, today, as an adult, we've owned them all. PS1, 2, 3 and now X-Box One and I'm STILL a fan of the football games today. Who isn't, with graphics like the ones below? Gaming has come a LONG way and it's only going to get better.
