Z-Rock signed on the air on April 1st 2008 at noon. The first song we played...  AC/DC - For Those About To Rock (We Salute You). I remember it, like it was yesterday. It certainly doesn't seem like 7 years.

Many of you probably remember our first show. July 16th, 2008. Puddle of Mudd, Saving Abel and Rev Theory. Since then, we've had some killer bands come to Rochester.

Halestorm, Rob Zombie, Alice Cooper, Shinedown, Korn, Pop Evil, Otherwise,Theory of a Deadman, Hinder, Disturbed, My Darkest Days, Sevendust, Drowning Pool, Nonpoint, Hellyeah, Chevelle, Royal Bliss, Saliva, Bush, Seether, Black Stone Cherry, Trapt, Lita Ford, Staind, John 5, Mushroomhead, Buckcherry, The Veer Union, Finger 11 and a ton more. That's just the ones I can name off the top of my head. Not to mention, Rock Fest, Viking/Packer buses etc.

It's been a great ride so far and it's all thanks to our incredible listeners. It's you guys that make Z-Rock what it is. The best damn Rock station in Southern Minnesota. Without our incredible listeners that come out and support live shows and events and our music we spin, Z-Rock wouldn't be here.

Thank YOU for 7 incredible years and here's to 7 more...and 7 more after that and another 7 after that...and so on.
