Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, can stand in the way of the love between a dog and it's owner. Not even a significant other!

A recent survey, done by Wag!, the dog walking service, of 3,500 dog owners shows that 4 of 5 dog owners would end a relationship if their new partner didn't get along with their dog.

Being a dog person myself, I don't blame them!

There are many other things that could end a relationship. Some include if your partner doesn't want kids and you do, if they have a bad sense of fashion, and if they're a bad tipper at restaurants. But this survey found that all of those things are less important to dog owners than if the person doesn't get along with their dog.

In a conversation that Wag! CEO, Hilary Schneider, had with Study Finds, she says, "It comes as no surprise to us at Wag! that dog parents place a premium on their dogs’ opinions of other humans and that this plays a deciding factor in their love lives.”

Yes, us dog people take our dogs very seriously! Would you break up with someone if they didn't get along with your pooch?
