Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Some good news for Rochester motorists.

MnDOT says the Highway 52 ramps at 55th St. NW reopened Thursday.

The ramps had been scheduled to be closed for four days but the pavement work was wrapped in just two days.

Workers will return at a later date and apply permanent striping.

There is also some bad news. A lane closure on 2nd St near St. Marys was causing problems for a second straight day Friday morning.

News Update: A Rochester man who was seriously burned in a traffic wreck last week remains hospitalized but is showing more signs of improvement.
