
Woman Acquitted for Role in High Speed Chase
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - An Olmsted County judge has found a Rochester woman not guilty of a felony charge stemming from a 15-mile long high-speed chase last March.

23-year-old Courtney Archer was a passenger in a stolen pickup truck driven by 25-year-old David Collier, who earlier pleaded guilty in the case and was sentenced to 4 1/2 months in jail. The pursuit ended in Oronoco area when Collier rammed into a State Patrol vehicle and the trooper fired 3 shots at the stolen pickup.
Archer was also charged with fleeing a police officer and recently went to trial before Judge Pamela King, who announced the not guilty verdict during a hearing Thursday afternoon.
