Where To Get Minnesota’s Best After-Christmas Deals

Sure, some of us are still running around trying to finish our holiday shopping, but here's a head's up on where to score the best after-Christmas deals.

Most of us have figured out by now that you can grab some serious deals on Christmas decorations, lights, wrapping paper and more right after the big day is done. (My wife and I say we're going to upgrade our Christmas tree lights during an after-Christmas sale every year, but we have yet to pull it off...)

But according to DealsNews.com, there are some other serious deals to be had right after Christmas is done this year too.

Like on clothes. DealsNews.com says some of the best After-Christmas deals are on clothing. "Last year, about 83% of the post-holiday deals we saw were for clothing and accessories. Even better, these sales often matched Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales — if not outright beating them," the site said.

You can also get some decent After-Christmas deals on exercise equipment. Once January first hits, EVERYBODY usually tries to eat better and get more active, so it seems odd that you could get a decent discount on items you need to get your workout on. But you can. DealsNews.com says you can find deals on both workout apparel and exercise equipment.

DealsNews.com also says you should be able to find decent deals on items in categories like holiday decor, electronics, video games and more. And last year, some of the sales, the site said, actually started before Christmas, on December 21st. This year, though, the predict most will fall between Christmas and New Years-- putting the 'after' back in the after-Christmas sales.
