A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect in southeastern Minnesota until 6 PM Tuesday. Because of the weather, several schools in our area, including Rochester public and private, have either canceled or delayed classes.

Temperatures are predicted to fall through the day Tuesday and shift the precipitation to all snow. The current forecast calls for a total of 2-4 inches of accumulation, mainly before 3 PM. The snow will be accompanied by north winds gusting to nearly 30 miles per hour.
