Walz To Discuss The Status of Schools at Press Conference

Governor Walz has a 2:00 PM press conference scheduled for today. He is expected to use this time to address plans for the remainder of this academic year. Minnesota students have been distance learning since schools closed in mid-March and it looks like that won't change. WCCO political analyst Blois Olson expects Walz to announce that all schools will remain closed for the rest of the year.

To be clear, there hasn't been an official announcement yet. We will learn more later today at the 2:00 PM press conference which can be heard on News-Talk 1340 KROC AM and 96.9 FM.
