Her name is Columbia, and she's all about being clean!

I couldn't help but notice this cuteness on my Facebook newsfeed. Did you see it too?

That's Columbia, ambassador for the popular National Eagle Center in Wabasha. She likes to be clean and take baths. If you check out what the center had to say about eagles in general, you'll notice that a lot of eagles like to stay clean too.

We always picture bald eagles soaring in the sky, but we never think about the fact that they can become water birds too. Think about it - they fish and they bathe. They're definitely water birds.

This website explains that they'll get dirty, or wet, for food. They say, "The bald eagle is not picky about how it gets its food. It will eat carrion, steal fish from other birds or hunt for its own. Their most important non-carrion food is fish, which they catch by swooping down and grabbing fish that are near the surface of the lake or stream."

How would you react if you saw one of these cuties taking a bath!?
