Valleyfair Planning to Open This Year But Postponing Three Attractions Until 2021

Valleyfair tweeted a video of their General Manager & VP, Raul Rehnborg addressing the status of the amusement park. He says his entire team is "just as disappointed as you are" about the park's delayed opening, but they are excited to "open when the time is right". Rehnborg says they are still planning on opening the park this summer and are currently busy getting all of the rides ready.

Unfortunately, several attractions planned for this summer have been postponed. According the Valleyfair's website:

• The Peanuts Celebration, honoring the classic cartoons of Minnesota native Charles Schulz, will unfortunately be postponed to 2021
• Grand Carnivale, the immersive evening parade and international street festival, will also be postponed to 2021
• Monster Jam® Thunder Alley™ will not take place in 2020

All 2020 Season Passes and Season Pass Add-On Products have been extended through the 2021 season.
